More physical problems being resolved

Ever since the launch of PSTEC I've received reports of physical problems being resolved.

When I created PSTEC I never intended it to find any kind of use for pain control or indeed for other physical problems. Despite this, PSTEC does often seem to work.

I've had couple of emails about this in just the last couple of days. One for example from someone whose foot had been painful since an injury many years before. They applied PSTEC to the pain and the memory of the injury. They inform me that when they did this almost nstantly the pain disappeared.

What the PSTEC audio appears to demonstrate is that it's not only emotions which become attached to memories. So it seems can physical pains which can endure long after all the physical side is resolved. In such instances PSTEC appears to work very successfully, detaching the pain from the memory in exactly the same way as it does with emotions.

I'm still not advocating PSTEC for pain or for physical problems because I believe anyone suffering such problems should seek medical assistance but the results are certainly extremely interesting.

PSTEC Stop Smoking System goes live

This is just a very quick note to any therapist readers of the blog. You may like to know that I have finally finished work on the PSTEC Stop Smoking System.

In some ways a system for successful smoking cessation is a complex undertaking especially when I have such a diverse range of potential users of the system.

There are some complimentary copies to give away though. If you have been particularly supportive of PSTEC or happen to have a website and are already advertising PSTEC Level 1 skills on there, then drop me a line and for now at least I'll send you a complimentary copy of the smoking cessation system.

Also nearly finished is an audio book, the title of which remains a closely guarded secret! That will be followed by the other audios which I mentioned a while back.

For anyone who's waiting on those other audios.... Rest assured, they are on the way. :)

Interesting Feedback

As more therapists discover PSTEC I continue to receive wonderful and varied reports. I wanted to publish one that I just received which clearly illustrates the wide variety of uses and just how good the results are when it is properly used. In this case the report comes from a talented and highly qualified therapist from Essex, Umesh Damania.

Umesh has studied PSTEC Level 1 and he is proving to be very adept with PSTEC.

"Hi Tim

Just to let you know that I had 5 clients in yesterday, and with 4 of them, I only used Pstec for the session.

* Lady with long standing anxiety that I’ve seen for over 15 sessions during the last 2 years. Round 1, sud 7 went to 3 and the thoughts were the same, but the feelings were diminished. Then round 2, sud 3 stayed at 3, the thoughts were still there, but could not bring up their feelings.

* Male client with sexual anxiety problems. Very analytical in nature. Seen him for a prolonged period with very little progress/ or shift in the anxiety. Started with working on these thoughts - Round 1 sud 9 to 4, round 2 sud 4 to 3 no feedback apart from confusion, round 3 worked on the anxiety, sud 10 to 2. Feedback was the "the tape made an amazing difference,
thank you so much"

* Newish client with extreme angry/violent issues. Round 1 sud 7 to 3, round 2 sud 3 to 1. Feedback, feels really silly about the outbursts, has small flashbacks, but cant seem to grab hold of them in his mind!

* Lady I’ve seen for 6 sessions regarding PSTD, panic attacks, anxiety. Worked in anxiousness. Round 1 sud 8 to 3, Round 2, sud 3 to 0. Feedback, can see the event still, but dissociated now, with no feelings. Confusion, like it’s happened to someone else.

So 4 very different cases and incredible results. Feels like the technique of choice now!

I’m going to see if I can work with it on weight loss clients somehow

Many thanks Tim, can’t wait to try it out on other stuff, as well as the smoking version one day!

If you are a therapist and you'd like to get these kinds of results then the PSTEC Level 1 audio will teach you how.

NB: the smoking cessation program should be ready for PSTEC therapists in a few weeks.

PSTEC In Spanish - follow up

On the 18th of December I reported the first us of PSTEC in Spanish. In the meantime Lou Ravelle (who worked with me on the translation) has used PSTEC with number of Spanish speakers and so far EVERY one appears to have been successful.

I promised to report follow up results for his first, (the young lady with a chronic fear of flying) and yesterday I received an email from Lou in Spain which I've attached below.

"HI Tim,

Just heard from the girl who flew to Madrid after having click track for fear of flying. She has just arrived back in Mallorca and had to phone me even though today is a very important fiesta. The return trip went even better than the outward bound one. She is over the moon and has booked for a weight loss session on Monday and recommended two more new clients for hypnosis.

It is good to see that PSTEC doesn't seem to have any language barrier

Regards,

Lou Ravelle"

From a business perspective what's interesting is that by knowing how to properly conduct a PSTEC session (which in this case Lou did for free) he has got 3 bookings from paying clients.

Therapists who want to know how to use PSTEC properly with clients in this way should get and study PSTEC Level 1

Spanish Version of PSTEC: First Results Are In!

A while back I reported the collaboration between Lou Ravelle and a colleague of his with myself to produce a PSTEC click track in Spanish. This is something which we hope will ultimately benefit Spanish speakers in far flung corners of the world with no access to other therapies.

As I said in a recent blog post, Lou is currently the only person in the world with access to the tracks and he now has the task of trialing them over the next few months to ensure that they work as intended.
Well the first results are in.
He has used the newly created Spanish track with his first Spanish client and the result appears to have been spectacularly successful. This is what he has reported.

"Hi Tim
I was able to try it out for the first time yesterday, on a young lady with fear of flying. She arrived at my office with a knot in her stomach caused by her feelings about an upcoming flight to Madrid on the 27th. The young lady was amazed! She went from a fear rating 10 out of 10 down to a 0 in one round. We did just one play of the audio and,in her words, she was a changed person and the knotted stomach had gone and she was looking forward to the flight. "

Such a powerful and fast result is extremely encouraging.
This was also the first time out for an updated and even more refined version the algorithm which I use in order to determine the optimum timing, duration, and spacing of the sounds in relation to the spoken content. From this first result it would seem to be success.

If you have Spanish relatives Lou can be contacted via either his websites.

What's in the pipeline for PSTEC?

This week sees the move of PSTEC from shared hosting to a dedicated server. This means that the site will have access to far more bandwidth, and so I will be able to offer more variety and also faster downloads.

Consequently, more important material is on the way. As I've already mentioned, I'm already working on the Stop Smoking system exclusively for advertising PSTEC Level 1 therapists, which will be free, (ETA Jan/Feb 2010). Aside from that, all of the following are in the pipeline as well so remember to keep an eye on the PSTEC website.

First I'll be providing a guide to Success with PSTEC + PSTEC Positive. (Note: Now available)

Then, and because a number of people have wondered about quite where PSTEC has come from I have some very specialist audios in development.

Currently these look set to include:
The Mind Model: Lots of people have asked me about this one. This is the model of the human mind and its workings which has taken me years to put together and from which PSTEC™ and a number of other unique techniques have been derived. As regards psychology, this is totally different from anything you've ever seen. It may be different but I'm confident regarding it's accuracy. As well as explaining almost all human behaviour and belief it also fully explains hypnosis, a phenomenon which has otherwise always been somewhat mysterious but which in the context of this model becomes extremely predictable and easily understandable.

PSTEC Cascade Release: This is another entirely different but very rapid way to help people with problems. PSTEC Cascade Release is another unique and easy technique which I derived from the Mind Model. (This one makes use of an absolutely fascinating new principle, ...exploiting temporal shifts).

Voids In Therapy: Understanding the huge importance of voids in therapy, what they are, how to create them and how to put them to use in order to help people escape problems.

Reality Bubbles and Plastification: Isn't plastification a great word? It's important too. This audio will describe what these things are, why they are important, and also how to use them to help people for the purposes of therapy or indeed to help yourself.

Direct Suggestion in Hypnosis:. One of the things which frustrates many people who use hypnosis is that direct suggestions can seem to be somewhat unpredictable in terms of results. In this audio I plan to explain in the context of the Mind Model, why it works, why failures occur and also why suggestions sometimes appear to wear off. Understanding these mechanisms and principles enables direct suggestion to be used in a far more powerful and much more effective way.

There are a couple of others which I think may be useful to practicing therapists but these are all pretty much laid out.

I have also made my "Be Free From Bulimia" audio system available from the PSTEC website.
After much consideration regarding the pros and cons of doing so I've decided to do this so that therapists can see an example of exactly how PSTEC can be used in the context of a much larger therapeutic intervention.

So as you can imagine I'm rather busy at the moment. In every case my overriding priority will be to provide items of the very highest possible quality and also items which are totally original and unique. So remember to keep an eye on the site and pop back from time to time.

PSTEC in Spanish is on the way

The hypnotherapist Lou Ravelle (of Mallorca Spain), a friend of his (also a student of hypnosis) and myself have been working very hard these last few weeks to create the first ever translation of percussive suggestion into a language other than English....namely Spanish.

Translation proved to be incredibly complex and it has taken a great deal of time. This is partly because of the complexity of the relationship between, clicks, tones and language on the PSTEC audios. The relationship between all the elements on the audios is extremely precise and has to be timed very carefully.

Consequently it took me 3 days just to space the language and add the percussive sounds correctly. In Spain, Lou and his colleague did a really tremendous job with the vocals and so between us and after a number of weeks effort the finished Spanish tracks are ready for use.

As a reward for all of his efforts, Lou will be the only person with access to PSTEC in Spanish for the next few months. During that time he will be able to assess the success of the translation process. Once that assessment is complete I hope to make it available for free to everyone else via the PSTEC website.

In the meantime anyone in Spain who would to experience the power of PSTEC in either English or Spanish can now do so by contacting Lou via one of his websites.
www.hypnopower.org.uk (English),
www.hipno.info (Spanish)

One reason that we have all worked hard on this is because many of the world's poorest people speak Spanish. Hopefully in future PSTEC will reach at least some of them, providing access to a useful and easily portable therapy.

My sincere thanks to Lou and his colleague for having done such a splendid job.
